A practicing WIDOWED (I have a 12 year old daughter) professional.
I am outgoing, assertive and sociable.
Have a stable professional job in Ophthalmology for over 20 years now. Financially stable Alhamdulillah. Home Owner of a lovely 4 bed semi detached.
I am very direct and straight to the point. I very much dislike two faced people and cowards. I know what I want due to life experiences and struggles.
Islam is paramount in my life. I have been through many hard trials in life at a young age and I am still standing largely due to Islam. It has shaped my thoughts and dictates my actions in life.
So due to my devotion to Islam I would prefer for the sister to observe the hijab, dress modestly and pray fives times a day.
In addition, if you are not prepared to fly from-mummy’s nest, immature, vain, domestically incapable, feminist, antisocial and arrogant/unrealistic expectations, please do not get in touch!! Yes I acknowledge I probably have rejected half of the sisters in this app from what I’ve just written, but sisters really need to have a reality check with expectations and reality!!
I live alone with my 12 year old princess and a kitten. Our home feels its empty during weekdays however my daughter and I do have an active weekend, ranging from learning Arabic, horse riding, swimming to fine dinning.
I am a widower so please no time wasters as I have two lives to consider, actually 3 if you consider the kitten.
On that note I love fathering and more importantly as selfish as it sounds, I would like the reward myself of bringing up my daughter and I actually enjoy playing a dual parent role. Daughters are a blessing and this journey has taught me valuable life skills and the honour our mothers fully deserve in Islam.
Seeking ideally a Sylheti Bangladeshi sister to share the rest of my life with but I maybe open to non Bengali sisters too. I don't mind divorcees/widowed or sister with one child. Ideally someone with a girl who can be a sister to my daughter. Daughter is for Mahram reasons.
Someone who enjoys spontaneous things when bored ie I often embark on long drives, staying away last minute. I do like the finer things in life like expensive hotels and restaurants. I love films by Denziel Washington, De Niro and Al Pacino, travelling, watching Netflix (Suits, Sopranos) and going to the theatre. I would describe myself as a confident person but certainly not arrogant. Very much a masculine man, so if your after the 21st century men often described as feminine, low pitched tone, 1 hour to do their hair and to my shocking surprise pluck their eyebrows (subhanallah what has the world become) then swipe away!
I sometimes enjoy my own company. Often been to restaurants, theatres, cinema alone. You will be surprised what you hear and see whilst alone (no eaves dropping just get to witness full episode of Eastenders)
I cycle, look after my health, appearance and go to the gym regularly. Completed London to Brighton, IOW to name a few of my cycling achievements. With this in mind my preference is for someone to be slim and active so why not come on this ride of a life time called “marriage”
Please note I am not seeking a slave just to cook for me rather someone I can chill and watch a movie with, travel, help in the kitchen (might regret this later) and ultimately live in peace and harmony to attain paradise together which should be the ultimate goal of marriage.
I am seeking a like minded individual. I don't mind if she works, in actual fact I would encourage it as I believe it's healthy for a successful marriage.
I am a home owner and I fully endorse a married couple to have their own space to get to know each other without the strain of in-laws.
I recently started to teach basic fiqh on line, Al hamdulilah I am financially secure with a mature outlook to life. I am confident and know what I want in life.
Often my daughter and I would dress up smartly and dine out. I would like to continue this inshallah with a wifey but in addition embark on other activities like perhaps skiing, deep sea diving, ferry cruises. I have reached an age in which I now wish to explore what mature adults do.
Only serious sisters please. No relationship before marriage. Communicating can be done via a chaperone should you wish although I am a mature grown man.
Lastly, I would really like to perform Hajj again ideally with my future wife inshallah.

What I Am Looking For
I am seeking a practicing sister. Someone who has sabr and has experienced trials in life. I fully believe trials in life makes you the kind of person you currently are.
A sister who is Bengali and can dialogue with people from all ages.
I am open to sisters who have been divorced equally sisters who have not been married before. I would also consider sisters with ONE child, ideally one daughter similar to the age of my daughter who can be sisters to each other and support each other during difficult times. I say daughter due to Mahram reasons (ie when my daughter reaches puberty inshallah).
Someone who is sensitive towards my situation and can bring up a family in an Islamic way. Ideally this person should be outgoing, willing to travel and enjoys eating out. She must pray five times a day and this includes fajr at its proper time and wears the hijab.
I don't mind if the sister works, actually I would encourage it as long as she understands her primary objective is to serve Allah and her career does not conflict with her wife and Islamic duties. I would like to know how my wife's day was at work and have a nice conversation as opposed to just waiting for dinner to be served! I don't mind cooking depending on who get's in from work first (hopefully the wifey lol). I am not looking for a servant but a companion!
Someone who truly understands the rights of a wife and husband. If this person is you then what I can offer is your rights, inshallah happiness and be part of a humble brother who has experienced many trials in life. I fully endorse for a family to have space and as such whoever comes into my life will share a lovely home with myself and my child.
It only leaves me to repeat myself to fear Allah and only get in touch if you can take on the responsibilities as describes in the aforementioned.
